Ingaltrude f. An elongation of Old Icelandic ing(i), of uncertain origin but perhaps identical with the god name Ing or Yngvi, also of uncertain origin + Proto-Germanic *þrūþ 'strength' or Proto-Germanic *trut 'maiden'.
